美国匹兹堡大学（University of Pittsburgh）： 流行病学研究中心、 药学系

       1987年，上海市肿瘤研究所流行病学中心与美国南加州大学流行病学研究中心的袁剑敏教授合作开展了上海男性血清库的队列研究合作，后来因负责人的工作流动原因，继而与明尼苏达大学，再到匹兹堡大学进行合作，科研经费多达2000万人民币。期间联合发表论文70余篇，其中不乏多篇高质量的SCI论文发表于New England Journal of Medicine（1篇），JAMA（1篇），JAMA Internal Medicine（1篇），Nature Genetics（1篇），BMJ（1篇）和International Journal of Cancer（6篇）。2009年，肿瘤微环境研究组覃文新教授与匹兹堡大学药学系谢文教授在肝病研究领域开展合作，共同培养研究生，联合发表研究论文。至今已合作发表Hepatology论文2篇、Journal of Hepatology论文1篇。
