Opening Notice of lecture 24 of tumor Forum
Date:2019-07-11Dear Teachers,Good morning/afternoon!
For this lecture, we are honored to invite Researcher Xu Chenqi. The title of his report is: Signaling and metabolic checkpoints in T cells.
Dr. Xu Chenqi is a researcher. He graduated from the Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 2004, where he obtained his doctoral degree. From 2004 to 2009, he conducted research on the mechanism of T cell transmembrane signal transduction at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard University, USA, serving successively as a postdoctoral fellow and an Instructor. He joined the Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology in 2009 and currently holds the positions of Assistant Director of the Institute and Deputy Director of the CAS Center for Excellence in Protein Science (Shanghai).
Dr. Xu has been selected for the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, the "Leading Talent" of the National Ten-Thousand Talents Program of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, and the CAS Hundred Talents Program. He also serves as Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Standing Director and Deputy Secretary-General of the Chinese Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
His research focuses on T cell signal transduction and metabolism. He has revealed the molecular mechanism of T cell antigen immune response, demonstrated the key role of lipid metabolism in T cell anti-tumor immune response, and developed new tumor immunotherapy methods. His achievements were selected into the "Top 10 Scientific Advances in China". He has won honors including the China Youth Science and Technology Progress Award, the Promega Award for Biochemistry, the CAS Young Scientist Award, the Tan Jiazhen Life Scientist Award, the Zhongyuan Union Life Medical Award, and the Shulan Medical Award.
All researchers and graduate students are welcome to attend!
